Party Time

Was gonna post this last week but I didn’t get time...

In case people didn’t know, the Communist Party is holding its 17th National Congress, a meeting to decide the direction China will take in the next five years. So, as you may imagine, it’s all over the telly. In Ireland, we don’t have patriotic propaganda shoved down our throats, but since we are in China, it is commonplace. Here is one example. Well, if you are in China, you may not be able to see the below video cos it seems that they have blocked youtube.com.




This song seems to be entitled "永远各党走" (yǒngyuǎn gēn dǎng zǒu), which sorta means "forever walk with the Party". Lots of imagery of flags and the military and average workers giving the salute.
